Behold, the plethora of pictures

As you'll soon see, we've been blessed with a fabulous new camera.
This came in REALLY handy on our recent trip to the Chicago area, where Nate's parents live.

Ryan's family came, too, which meant 7 kids total--ages 8, 6, almost 4, 3, 2, 11 months, and 9 months.
WOW, was it ever LOUD.

With that many small kids, a trip to the zoo was a surefire winner!
We had to take the train for a short ways.  Actually, we could've called it quits after the train ride itself!  The kids loved it!

***Brienna snuggles with Grampy***

The girls enjoyed pretending to be all the funny animals.
***Livvie, as a...  what IS this animal, anyway?***

***Ellia, as an eagle***

Brienna wouldn't sit still!

Before the train pulled up, everyone posed in front of the zoo sign.

We had a great time!
More pictures to follow.
(Naturally.)

The mystery animal is an Okapi. It's in the same family group as a giraffe.

Wow, I was going to guess a deer for the mystery animal. I don't feel very smart now . . .

Looks like a super fun (not to mention tiring) time, Karen!
