Clothing Question

Perhaps I'm dumb for not knowing, and even dumber for asking...

What is the difference between a little girls' shirt in size 24 months & that same shirt in a 2T?

Hey Karen,

I am not sure if someone already answered your question or not, but here is what I know

~24mo size shirt isn't as long in the torso as 2T. Toddler clothes have more room for the pooch of a tummy toddlers tend to have.

~2T pants are made with a slightly smaller waist and a smaller butt area. A 24m has a slighter larger waist and butt area to allow for a diaper. A 2T is usually a bit longer in the legs also.

~Also, in pants and shorts, 24mo usually still has access to the diaper and 2T doesn't

~The last difference is what company made it. All of them are a little different on sizes.

I make a lot of little clothes so I looked into all of this stuff when I was making my size charts a long time ago. I hope this helped.
