Tonight Livvie & I shared some strawberry shortcake. It was nice. I asked her, "Would you like to have a treat with Mommy?" Wow, do her eyes light up at that T-word! Nothing fancy... just a miniature angel food cake with some squashed-up strawberries & banana on top. Not even Cool Whip! She doesn't know the difference, though, and followed each bite with a hearty, "Mmm!"
After dessert she downed a bowl of yogurt, followed by a large handful of sweet potato chips. I guess she was hungry!
Then we got her into her jammies & snuggled on the couch to watch a "show" (She has exactly 3 videos that she watches on a semi-regular basis. 2 Fisher Price & a Sunday School Songs one. Tonight was the latter.).
It was a nice evening.
