The Big Day
Well, it's really happening. Tomorrow I will meet my birth mother and 2 sisters for the first time. I am excited, but in a strange sort of way. I am preoccupied and anxious and sick to my stomach. On a couple of occasions tonight I have felt myself starting to "lose it..." all the things that didn't get done are racing through my head, and waves of panic come and go. I wonder how much sleep I will get tonight?

that is so exciting! we will be praying for you. we got to be part of helping a friend find her birth father and it was an amazing experience. i can't wait to hear how it goes.

I am so excited for you, Karen, and I wish I had checked this yesterday, because I would have loved to guess that you got ZERO or VERY little sleep last night! I will be praying for you. Your birth mother and sisters are going to be SO proud of you. Let me know how it goes!
