2-year-old conversations

It is so exciting to observe Olivia's expanding vocabulary.

She says her own mealtime prayers now:
"Dear God, thank you food, bless our bodies, Jesus food..."

And after a month of hearing it at bedtime, she can now say most of Ephesians 6:1:
"Children, obey parents, lala Lord, is, is, right!"

Just today, as we drove through a thunderstorm to the store:
Olivia: "Where is it?" (said to herself a few times)
Mommy: "Where's what, honey?"
Olivia: "Where's the fireworks?"
Mommy: "Oh, that's not fireworks, it's thunder."
(pause, waits to hear it again)
Olivia: "Where's the thunderworks?"

That's adorable! It's so cute to hear how little ones mangle new words and ideas, eh?

Do you have a copy of the cd, "Hide 'em in your heart" by Steve Green? That has been a HUGE help in getting Scripture into Chloe's brain.
