New Olympic Event?

I think they should have a Baking Event in the next Olympic games.
I'm sure to win with my newly-attained brunch recipe,
Blueberry French Toast Casserole
It is divine.

12 slices bread, cubed (1")
2 packages cream cheese, cubed (1")
1 c. blueberries, fresh or frozen
12 eggs
2 c. milk
1/3 c. maple syrup or honey

Spread half of the bread cubes in a greased 9x13 pan. Place cream cheese cubes on bread. Top with berries and remaining bread. Beat eggs, milk, and syrup/honey and pour over the top. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350*, covered, 30 minutes. Uncover and bake another 30 minutes, or until golden and center is set. Serve with warm sauce on top!

Blueberry sauce (optional)
1 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 c. blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 T. butter or margarine

Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water. Boil over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add berries. Reduce heat and simmer 8-10 minutes or until most of the berries burst. Add butter; stir til melted.

Then again, I'll probably have to enter it in the Dessert Division.

Wow, that sounds yummy! I've enjoyed catching up! Cannot believe how big Ellia has gotten, and I LOVED her cooing video clip. Can't believe Olivia will be two either. So fun! Enjoy it! Two is my VERY favorite age!
