Good Practice

Olivia is so nurturing toward her baby dolls. It gives me great hope that she'll be a doting big sister in just 15 weeks.

She found the sleeve of diapers that I was preparing to put in her changing table.

She takes great pains to pull the sticky tabs out and stretch the diaper firmly across baby's neck.

HA! I laughed to myself when I read "stretch the diaper firmly across baby's neck". Too cute! She is going to be a GREAT big sister. :o)

HEy, Thanks for your comment. I remember well the feelings of approaching #2 and how his birth was going to change my world. It will change...there is no getting around that...but it will be for good!! Just different. Like a new dimension on a sparkling diamond!! You don't lose any brilliance from prior, but only gain a new level of shine! I am finding that so much of our life consists of adjustment periods---and quite often those are the times the Lord reminds us of His goodness and our dependency. And that's ALWAYS a good thing! I remember really cherishing those last few months with Drew knowing I wouldn't be getting as much focus time with him once Jack arrived(at least for awhile). And for what it's worth, although Livvie seems like a perfect little girl :) ---and SO adorable, work out as many of those little "issues" now...it will help so much when baby #2 is here and you don't have to backtrack with Livvie. (although child training always seems to pop up at the most unseemly of times!) Sorry for babbling and thanks for listening! :)
