I didn't even know I was playing, & Alicia tagged me! So now I guess I'll share a couple recipes that we love. One is a main dish; the other is a side.
Pork Slaw Stew (sounds gross, I know! But we LOVE it!)
1 lb. pork sausage
2 c. onion, chopped
2 T. red pepper flakes (optional)
1 pkg. ready-made Cole Slaw (I think Dole makes it. Or you can chop up your own cabbage.)
3 cans cream soup--your choice--I use cream of mushroom.
2 cans milk
shredded cheese (optional)
sour cream (optional)
Brown sausage, onion, & pepper flakes together until sausage is cooked; drain. Place all ingredients in a large pot or dutch oven. Simmer 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with cheese & sour cream, if desired.
Note: For a thinner broth, use 3 cans milk.
Spinach Supreme
2 pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, cooked
1 c. sour cream
1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 c. grated cheese
buttered bread crumbs
Combine spinach, sour cream, & soup mix; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 13X9 pan. Sprinkle cheese over top. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350* 20-30 minutes.
Okay, there you have it! Now I tag Vicki, Harmony, the Burtts, and Sara. You're it, girlies!

My pregnancy induced heartburn would not do well with that slaw recipe but the spinach one sounds awesome and delectable!
