Rough Night

Last night Olivia woke up crying several times. I thought she had just lost her paci, but that never happens more than once. She had a late supper but no bedtime bottle, so finally around midnight I gave her the bottle. She sucked it right down, and I felt badly. Poor baby had a cold, hungry tummy!
Then I snuggled with her in the dark on the couch. But she was WIDE AWAKE. I mean, talking and looking around with wide, bright eyes. Tried several times to put her back to bed, but she screamed and cried whenever I started to walk away. Hmmm... not like Livvie at all.
So then I brought her up to our bed, which I've never done, but then she REALLY thought it was playtime. (On weekend mornings we go up there together to wake up Nate. She crawls around and thrashes on the bed & thinks it's great.) So she didn't sleep there, either. Just talked and cooed and messed around. Finally, around 1:45, I said, "That's enough!" And I put her in her crib. She never made a peep.
This morning she woke up crying. Upon closer inspection I realized: she has caught my cold over the weekend. She probably felt miserable most of the night. Poor, poor dolly.

NO STINKIN' WAY! Aaron had the Exact Same kind of night. However, he awoke with no cold, but a horribly red bottom. My theory is that the nursery used a different kind of wipe instead of the sensitive ones we packed and he was miserable...

poor babies can't communicate with us...

Hey, Burtts! Just go down past the last post, and you'll see a black box with a playlist. Click anywhere on the box, and a new page should pop up.
