Seriously. I have tried umpteen times to change my profile pic, but blogger won't let me. I know I did everything right, too. I definitely have a love-hate relationship with technology.
5 minutes later: AHA! Again, I got the better of the computer.
All is well again.

I haven't been able to change my profile pic either, which is why Luke is like 1 year old in the picture!
I fussed with the same thing for some time a while back, thus the reason I don't have a pic at all! :o) Haven't gotten back to it. What's your secret??
Your photo has to be somewhere on the Internet, even if it's just on your own blog. After your photo is posted, go back as if you were going to edit it. Click the "Edit HTML" tab. You'll see all the gobble-dy-gook. You're looking for the http website address of your photo.
Tricky part: there are 2 http thingies--one to direct folks to that particular page, which comes first, and one for the actual photo, which is enclosed by "img." That second one is the one you want. Copy & paste, starting with http and ending with jpg (or whatever format your photo is in.). No quotation marks allowed. Paste into the profile pic section, and voila! (hopefully!)
