"Small" Things

Olivia is walking all the time now, and when my parents were here, my mom decided that Livvie needed a good pair of walking shoes. We ducked into Stride Rite to check them out, and WOW! They started at $40. But the nice lady sized Livvie's chubby feet (best size for her is a 4 wide.), and told us what to look for in walking shoes. Mom bought her a really cute pair at Target for $10, so she's been wearing those. WELL, yesterday Olivia and I hit up Value World, a local secondhand store, to see if we could find some fall/winter clothes for her. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon these babies!
As you can see, they're in almost perfect condition--still stark white. I checked the size--4 wide! Yesssss! Best part--they were $.80. That's right, eighty cents. Such a "small thing," but sometimes I think God hides those special deals from all the other shoppers and saves them just for me.

I've never get tired of great bargains! For me I was struggling to find pants for Audrey. She is 14 months, but the 12 months weren't fitting her right. They wouldn't fit her at the waist, thus we had low riders, a bad thing cause then when she walked the pant would be too long and trip her up when walking. . . Anyway, Shannon had told me about adjustable pants you can adjust the waist and the height (perfect for Audrey). Well, I spent the last couple of day looking for pants that would due. Long story short, last night in Target I found a cute purple pair on clearance for $2.48. I think she'll be able to wear these ones for a while since they can kinda grow with her!

Isn't it amazing how that happens?

I just took Elise into a thrift store barefooted, as we lost her other shoe. There were 3 pairs of Robeez just her size!
