Early Bird

Well, it's only 7:09 a.m., and already I have dressed Olivia, traced half of my stencils on her wall, snapped & cropped a couple photos of her, and here I am. The child had a late nap yesterday, thereby leading to a bit of a later bedtime. I thought she'd sleep in a little, but it wasn't to be. She awakened--bright-eyed & bushy-tailed--at 6 a.m.

I tried to capture some photos of her crawling, and this is the best I came up with. She's on the move toward her favorite toy, the nesting cups. No matter how upset she is, when you put these little cups in front of her, you're assured at least a couple minutes of reprieve while she un-nests them (Yes, I know that isn't a word.).

This is Livvie's newest trick...sticking out her tongue when she's amused.

I'm glad to be able to say that she now has complete understanding of the word "no." Several times in the last few days, she has reached for off-limits things...but pulls away when I say, "No." (sigh.) And the training continues!

Today we plan to visit a couple big rummage sales. One is a church-wide sale in our city, and there are also a couple local subdivision sales going on today. I'm excited to see what treasures we'll find!

We hit lots of garage sales today too! Found way too many good deals so my hubby grounded me until July. :( Hope you find some treasures!

Ugh, I'm so glad Chloe's out of the 6 a.m. days. She sleeps 'til 7:45 or 8 most days. Ah, the lovely sleep schedule of a toddler!

I think that Livvie looks like nate in the second one, not cause of the tongue, just her eyes or something:)
I love yard sales...I hit a few yesterday too, and the girls wore some of our finds to church today....1$ dresses are the BEST!!!
Elli got a PINK remote control poodle too....boy, we did AWESOME!
