I love cute baskets and storage totes, but I hate how pricey they are! Here's an alternative: wrap up a regular old cardboard box with the wrapping paper of your choice! I wish I could say I came up with this idea; actually, I saw it on Anna Beers's blog. I also wish I could remember how I even found her blog... sorry. Anyway, here are a couple boxes I did recently. The one under the crib holds extra diapers/wipes, and the large one (obviously) holds toys.

And here's my very own little Laura Ingalls. :) She's wearing a bonnet that belongs to Leah. Cute, huh?

I saw that box-wrapping idea somewhere too; what a great and cost-effective idea! Too bad we use cloth diapers and don't have those types of boxes. Chloe's room is in need of an overhaul, maybe I'll have to try that. I think it would cool if you used different wrapping paper with coordinating colors too . . . hmm, now my brain's humming. :) Love the little bonnet! How long did she keep it on her head?

Yes, the possibilities abound! You're a brave soul for cloth diapering! Perhaps for the next baby... (NO, that isn't an announcement!) She didn't mind the bonnet--just kept trying to eat the strings. :)
