Gifts from Grandma

Hello, this is Olivia Marie Adams. When my Grandpa & Grandma Stine were here last month, Grandma spoiled me (like she always does!) Here I am, looking darling as ever. Grandma left some money for me before she left , and this is one of the things my Mama bought with it. (Mama wants me to tell you that it was originally $13.76, and she found it on sale for $5. She really gets excited about stuff like that.) The rest of the money was put toward my first Easter basket, which I'm not allowed to see until Easter. Equally as exciting is the fact that I am SITTING! Yes, my boppy is helping me, but I sometimes don't even lean on it! Mommy & sometimes Daddy have sitting practice with me every day. Each time, I can sit a little bit longer! Mommy says it's important to practice sitting straight and tall because someday I will have to sit very straight at the piano.

This is a dress that Grandma bought for me at The Children's Place. (And Mama says it was originally $14.50 on sale for $4.) She bought lots of things for me there, but most of it is 6-9 months, so you'll be seeing pictures of that come spring. Everyone complimented me at church today, and I kept it clean all day! (Usually I potty or spit up on my church dresses. I think it's funny.)

Tomorrow night I get to go to my other Grandma's house. (I call her Grammy.) My Mama has a volleyball game, so Grammy's going to play with me. And I get more presents! Grammy did a whole lot of shopping yesterday, and she says she's got a bunch of stuff for me! Yay! I think I'm going to like being a girl--shopping is great!

Olivia,
you've go the right idea! shopping is the best! Just wait until you can wear some cute shoes to go with your pretty dresses. I especially like my cool black boots.
